Whiskey Casks
Why Whiskey Is Liquid Gold - Basics
The process of creating whisky is lengthy and involves several stages such as malting, mashing, fermentation, distillation, aging and bottling. Each stage influences the final flavour, colour and character of the whisky. The distilled spirit that's initially created during the distillation stage is a clear, high-alcohol content liquid. This spirit lacks the characteristic colour, aroma and complex flavours that we associate with whisky.
